COBRA

COBRA is a Java middleware product that allows a program to treat Relational Database (RDBS) tables as objects.  Support for a data dictionary permits the database scheme to be modified without changing code.  COBRA can be used in 2 to n-tier environment.  RMI is supported with CORBA in a future release.

JAMS

JAMS is a fully functioning SMTP mail server written entirely in Java.  It supports 3rd party plug-ins for mail filtering.  For performance an RDBMS is used as a message store.
